    threat him with a divorce?

  • TROUBLE says:

start spending the same amount that hes does on something that you like

  • SuzyQ says:

Call Gambler’s anonymous and get some help. They should be able to provide support groups for you in dealing with his compulsive addiction and let you know things you can do to try to help him. He is going to have to help himself. Admitting he has a problem is the first step. Obviously, this is at a tremendous cost to you and your family. If he can’t or won’t get help, I would leave until he is able to come to grips with the situation. If he doesn’t, get an attorney and divorce him while there is still something left to divide.

  • Sir Hard & Thick says:

You have to leave, as long as you stay you are enabling him. gambling is an addiction just like drugs. and you can’t get them to stop until they hit rock bottom, maybe loosing you would be rock bottom for him? but it can’t just be a threat he has to know you mean it, and you really do have to mean it, once he shows he is ready to accept help, then you can seek out help, first step is to get him to want to get help!

Get a separate bank account and start putting money away. Do not tell him. I would not stay with a guy like this. He has a major problem. Get yourself some help. Once you have money put away you can make a better decision on what you really need to do.

Your husband is a Twat, get rid of him. Only fools gamble

  • Kooter says:

get him to a counseling service, but first cut off his credit card accounts and his access to the bank, or make it so he has a weekly limit or something

There is a free website with a directory listing of all the stop gambling support websites. You can choose the one you like to click on from this directory listing. http://compulsivegamblers.gotop100.com/index.php
