Seek the advice of a divorce legal professional. He is the only one particular that can advise you how to do things the right way.

  • Queenie says:

Call the cops and have him removed. Tell them he is a thief and he keeps stealing your money to gamble. That should work.

  • Dr. House says:

Yes discard him, do not try to intervene and help.
It’s not as though you are his wife and made solemn promises before God.

If you know he is stealing and have evidence start by calling the cops.
Book in the source for you.

If he is that bad then YOU should leave.

    Hello,

I’m am a member of Gamblers Anonymous and can relate what you may be going through with your husband.

The best suggestion I can give is for you to go to the Gam-Anon website to get more information on how to help you cope with his addiction. The self-help organization of Gam-Anon is a life saving instrument for the spouse, family or close friends of compulsive gamblers.

If there is a gambling problem in your home, the Gam-Anon family group may be able to help you cope with it. If you are living with a compulsive gambler, you will answer “YES” to at least six of the following questions listed on their website link below:

    http://gam-anon.org/living.htm

Your husband may also want to look at the Gamblers Anonymous website so he can see where he is at with his addiction. The website for them is:

However, your husband may not be ready or willing to accept that he may need help, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get help for yourself. By going to Gam-Anon meetings you can find the help and support to see what you need to do to help you recover and heal.

Compulsive Gambling is a very serious addiction and illness. The person who is addicted may end up going to jail, going insane, or committing suicide. Along side their families can suffer tremendous pain, emotional distress, financial loss, and also can be affected. It is important that all sides seek help as soon as possible in order to start the recovery process and heal.

Please know that you are not alone and their are many people that understand what you are going through and can help you get through this.

    Good Luck
